How do I rename a tag or change its color?
Short answer: Open the tag from the Tags section: its name is edited by clicking on it, its color by clicking the color swatch.
Steps
- In the dashboard menu, open Tags.
- Click the tag's row: the right-hand panel opens.
- For the name: click the displayed name (Change name), correct it, confirm.
- For the color: click the color swatch (Change color) and pick another one.
You'll know it worked when: The new name and color show on the tag, in the list as well as on the profiles of the contacts carrying it.
What it changes elsewhere
A tag exists only once. Renaming or recoloring updates every profile carrying it in one go, along with the saved filters that rely on it.
Renaming loses no contact: the tagged people stay tagged, under the new name.
