How do I change the size of a logo version?
Short answer: Change the dimensions of the version when you want that size everywhere; create an extra version when it is for one particular placement.
Which of the two
| What you need | What to do |
|---|---|
| This version must be bigger or smaller everywhere it is used | Change its dimensions in mm |
| You need a size for one particular placement, without touching the other products | Create an extra version |
Steps
- On the “Shops” page, open the “My logos” tab in the left-hand panel.
- Click the thumbnail of the logo concerned: its detail sheet opens on the right.
- Scroll down to the “Based on the logo shape, we suggest the following versions” table. Each row is a version, with its “Name”, its “WxH (mm)” dimensions, its surface in cm² and its “Price”.
- There are two ways to change a size:
- click on the dimensions in the row and type the value you want;
- or use the up / down arrows in the “Resize” column to adjust millimeter by millimeter.
- To create an extra size, click “Add a version” at the bottom of the table, then give it a name and its dimensions.
- Click “Save”.
Enter one dimension only
When you type the dimensions, give either the width (for example
120) or the height with an x in front of it (for example x80). The other dimension is calculated automatically to keep the proportions: the system never distorts your logo.Do not cross a rectangular surface threshold without meaning to: the cost of the marking changes in tiers, and every product using that version then changes price. The surface column (in cm²) of the table tells you where you stand. See Why does the price change when I modify the logo dimensions.
Going further
You'll know it worked when: The product shows the size you wanted, and the price of the marking has not moved to another price tier without you deciding it.
