How do I delete a draft and go back to the live shop?
Short answer: On the draft, click the dark red button in the action bar, the one whose icon is a trash can. The live shop is untouched — it never stopped running.
Steps
- Open the draft concerned.
- In the action bar at the top right, click the dark red button with the trash can icon. Like the other buttons in that bar it carries no text: hovering it shows a tooltip reading “Delete the whole draft”.
- Confirm. The draft and all the changes saved in it are deleted.
The live shop stays exactly as it was. That is the whole point of the draft: what you abandon was never published.
Deletion is final
There is no undo. The products stay in your selection and the logos in your logo list, but the draft's arrangement — collections, order, names, colors, markings — is lost.
When to do it
When the draft has drifted and starting again from the live shop is quicker than undoing the changes one by one. Opening a fresh draft copies it identically, and you start over on a clean base.
Going further
You'll know it worked when: The draft is gone, the live shop is intact, and the orange button offers to open a fresh one again.
