How do I create a visual with the Studio?
Short answer: Open Promotions, tab “Studio”, click “New visual”, choose a template, adjust what needs adjusting, then “Generate”.
Steps
- Open the Promotions page, then the “Studio” tab.
- Click “New visual”. The “Choose a template” window shows the templates available, the platform's and your own, with a filter by format.
- Select a template: a “Personalized preview” is built with your shop's data. Click “Customize this template”.
- The composer opens in “Fill” mode, with the list of fields on the left and the preview on the right. Adjust whatever you want.
- Click “Generate”. A message confirms the generation has started.
- The file lands under “Generated visuals”, on the Studio page. Use “Download” to get it.
Generation runs in the background: the thumbnail goes through “Queued” then “Generating…” before it is ready. You can carry on working meanwhile.
Reworking a visual you already generated
Every generated visual offers several actions:
- “Reopen in the composer” — start again from its settings to produce a variant.
- “Regenerate” — rebuild the same file, useful if an element had failed.
- “Update from the current template” — take in the changes made to the template since the generation.
- “Delete”.
If a slot came out empty
The message “Some referenced elements no longer exist — their slots were left empty. Review and regenerate.” means an image the visual used has been deleted in the meantime. Reopen it, put an image back, then regenerate.
Going further
You'll know it worked when: The visual appears under “Generated visuals” and its “Download” button gives you the file.
