How do I set a margin on a product?

Short answer: Open the product's configuration in the editor: the E-shop markup menu, at the bottom of the window, offers the amounts available. The margin is added to the item's selling price.

Steps

  1. In the editor, open the collection then click the product to configure.
  2. At the bottom of the configuration window, find E-shop markup.
  3. Open the menu and pick the amount. Values run from None up to the maximum allowed for that product, in steps of 0.50 €.
  4. Next to it, the Total price updates: that is what the buyer will pay.
  5. Close the window, save, then deploy the shop.
You'll know it worked when: The E-shop markup menu shows the amount you picked, and the product's total price goes up by the same amount.

What to know

The margin is set product by product: there is no global setting. So you can put one on your best sellers and leave the rest at None.
A product left at None brings in nothing and costs no transaction fee.
The E-shop markup menu only appears on a Shop with product margins. On a standard shop, the configuration window does not offer it.
