My logo has a white background, what do I do?

Short answer: Upload it anyway: the system tries to remove a solid background automatically. For printing, you will still need a file with true transparency.

Cause

Your file has a solid background (a white or single-color rectangle) instead of a transparent one.

Solution

Upload the logo: the system automatically tries to make that background transparent, which lets you start composing your visuals and building your shop right away.

This automatic removal produces a logo that can be used for web display only. It does not make the logo printable: for manufacturing you will need an SVG file, or a genuine print-quality PNG with a transparent background. See Is my logo good enough for printing.

A white background is a bitmap-file problem. If your graphic designer can supply the SVG of the logo, the question disappears: vector artwork has no background, only shapes. See What file format should my logo be.
