Why is my draft's address different?
Short answer: Because a draft has its own address, so that you can look at it without touching the live shop. The
_draft code disappears when the shop is put into service.Cause
A live shop and its draft coexist: two addresses are therefore needed, or looking at one would amount to publishing the other.
For that, the system adds a small
_draft.. code to the draft's address. You can open both side by side and compare. What happens when the shop is put into service
The code is removed. Only the part you chose remains, and that is what becomes the shop's public address.
So there is nothing to correct: the address you see in the field, without the code, is the one that will be published.
Never circulate a draft's address. It stops working when the shop is put into service, and a dead link in a post cannot be taken back.
