An order was just placed, why is it not showing?
Short answer: Orders come down from the shop to the dashboard every ten minutes. An order paid just now therefore takes up to ten minutes to appear. There is nothing to do: it will arrive.
What is happening
The shop and the dashboard are two different places. When a buyer pays, the order is recorded on the shop straight away. An automatic pass then copies it into your dashboard, at regular intervals.
The same goes for anything that happens later: a parcel shipped, an order cancelled or refunded take the same delay to show up here.
The Refresh icon at the top right of the list re-reads the page. It does not trigger that pass, so it does not make a brand-new order arrive any sooner.
When to worry
If an order is still missing after a good half hour, it is no longer a delay. First check that the Status filter is on All and that the search box is empty — a search left in place hides everything else. If it is still missing, contact us with its number.
