How do I track an order's parcel?

Short answer: Open the order: the Delivery tracking section gives the carrier, the parcel number and the last known event. Track parcel opens the carrier's own site, which is always the most up-to-date version.

Steps

  1. On the Orders page, click the order's row.
  2. Go down to the Delivery tracking section, between the products and the timeline.
  3. Read the block: the carrier's name, the tracking number, and in brackets the last known event — for example (In transit).
  4. Click Track parcel: the carrier's site opens in a new tab, on that number.
You'll know it worked when: The Delivery tracking section shows the carrier, the tracking number and the last known event.

One order can travel in several parcels

If an order's products do not leave together, the section shows one block per parcel, each with its own number and its own progress. Under each block are the products it contains — which is what lets you tell the buyer what has arrived and what is still coming.
The section does not appear until something has left. An order still in production has no tracking number yet: that is normal, and it is not a problem.
The events shown here are collected several times a day, not continuously. They can therefore lag a little behind the carrier's own site. When in doubt, Track parcel is what counts.
