How many emails can I send?
Short answer: Your account has a recipient quota over a rolling period. The send window shows it at all times, and you can request a free increase from the Organisation page.
Where to see it
The quota appears in the header of the “Send Email” window, opposite the title: it shows how many recipients you have already used out of your allowance, and the length of the period.
The Organisation page gives the fuller version, in the part about email sending.
How it is counted
The quota counts recipients, not campaigns: splitting one send into several small emailings changes nothing. The period is rolling — as older sends fall out of the time window, room frees up on its own.
When a send is refused
Two distinct cases:
- The selection is larger than what you have left. The send button is disabled and its tooltip gives both figures. Reduce the number of contacts in your selection, or wait.
- The period is fully used up. A button to request more then appears directly in the send window.
Requesting an increase
The increase is free and is requested from the Organisation page, or from the error message when a send is refused. The request goes out once; we get back to you afterwards.
