My password link does not work any more
Short answer: The message “Sorry, this password reset link is invalid” means the link has already been used or is more than six hours old. Ask for another one from the login page.
What makes a link unusable
- It has already been used: a link works once.
- It is more than six hours old.
- You asked for another one since: only the last one sent stays valid.
Asking for a new link
On the login page, type your email address and click Set my password. The new email replaces the previous one.
If you are already logged in
The message appears and you stay on My account: just change the password there, the link is no longer needed.
