What is a free delivery operation?
Short answer: A period during which nobody pays delivery fees on your shop — not the buyers, not you. At the end, DAGOBA delivers every order in one shipment to the address you give, and you hand out the parcels (one per order).
The principle
During the period you set, every order placed on the shop is delivered free of charge, and an announcement appears on the shop's home page.
At the end of the period, DAGOBA gathers all the orders of the operation and delivers them to a single address, which you give us once the period is over. You then hand each parcel to its buyer.
It is the grouping that makes the operation free: one shipment instead of as many shipments as there are orders.
The condition to meet
An operation is only finalized if it reaches a minimum level of activity: at least 3 orders, for a total amount of at least €90.
What to plan for
- A handover place and someone to receive the grouped parcel.
- A way to promote this operation internally. Without an announcement, the period goes by without orders. Three means, best combined:
- An emailing to your contacts. In the “Free delivery” tab, a button prepares the draft for you, dates included — see How do I announce a free delivery operation to my contacts.
- Visuals for your social media. The Studio builds posts and stories from your catalog — see What is the Studio for.
- Something to display and hand out. The Studio also produces an A4 flyer to print, for the notice board or to give out in person.
One operation at a time per shop, active or scheduled. To create another one, end or cancel the previous one.
