How do I add a contact by hand?
Short answer: The New contact button asks for a first name, a last name and an email address, then opens the profile for you to complete.
Steps
- Open Contacts, then click New contact at the top right.
- Enter the First name, the Last name and the Email.
- Click Create.
- The profile opens: complete it if needed with a mobile, a WhatsApp number or tags.
You'll know it worked when: The new contact's profile opens on the right, and they appear in the list.
What to know
The email address must be free: if it already belongs to one of your contacts, the creation is refused and it is the existing profile you should complete.
A contact created this way is marked as reachable: they are included in your emailings with nothing else to do.
To load several people at once, importing a file is quicker than entering them one by one.
