I have requested deletion, what happens next?
Short answer: A dated banner replaces the button, and the request cannot be sent again from the page. We handle it and come back to you; if you change your mind, get in touch with us.
On the page
The Delete my account button disappears. In its place, a banner: “Your account deletion request was recorded on … An administrator will process it shortly.”
Clicking again is neither possible nor necessary: the request is recorded only once.
On our side
The request opens a case with us. Nothing is deleted automatically: it takes a person, and we get back to you.
In the meantime
The account keeps working normally: the shop stays online, orders run their course and the dashboard stays reachable.
If you change your mind
The page offers no way to cancel the request. Get in touch with us: as long as the deletion has not been carried out, it can be stopped.
If your money pot still holds a balance, this is also the moment to talk about it.
