Closing my shop or deleting my account, what is the difference?
Short answer: Closing a shop takes that shop off sale and is requested by getting in touch with us. Deleting the account covers everything: all your shops, your contacts, your logos and the access of every one of your administrators.
The two moves
| Closing a shop | Deleting the account | |
|---|---|---|
| What it touches | One shop | The whole account: its shops, its contacts, its logos, its money pot |
| How to request it | By getting in touch with us | The Organisation page, Delete my account button |
| What is left | The account and its other shops | Nothing |
Which one to pick
If you only want to stop one shop — a season that is over, a section that has folded — closing it is enough.
A shop with no orders costs nothing: putting it to sleep takes no action at all.
Deleting the account only makes sense if you are leaving DAGOBA for good.
And the money pot
If your money pot holds a balance, settle it first: get in touch with us to talk it through.
