My shop is not open, why?

Short answer: Two possible causes, and hovering the red cart tells you which: the shop address still contains the word demo, or one of the logos placed on its products is not of sufficient quality for printing.

How to spot it

In the "Activation + Shop address" section, the cart is red. Hover it: the tooltip names the cause, and both of them if they are present together.

Cause 1 — the address still contains the word demo

The tooltip reports that the shop address contains the word "demo", and advises: "Edit the shop (orange button at the top right) and change its address to activate it."
Every shop built as a demo is given an address ending in -demo-NNN. As long as that ending is there, the shop stays closed.
Solution: create a draft with the orange button in the action bar, click the address and replace it with a short subdomain, without the word demo. Then put the draft into service. The detail is in How do I set my shop's address.

Cause 2 — a logo in use is not of sufficient quality

The tooltip reports that some logos in use are not of sufficient quality, and names them. It advises uploading a logo with sufficient resolution.
The check only covers logos placed on products in the shop. A web-quality logo can sit in My logos without blocking anything, as long as no product uses it.
Solution: obtain the print-quality file and replace it inside the existing logo. See Some of my logos are not good enough quality — what do I do.
Fixing the address or the logo in a draft is not enough: the check applies to the live shop. Put the draft into service so the fix counts.
